Q. What is the difference between a charter and a transfer?

A. A transfer is when a vehicle transports you from point A to point B with no additional stops, while a charter is up to 5 consecutive hours of service with unlimited stops permitted.

Q. Is there an hourly minimum? Why?

A. There is an hourly minimum for both charters (but not transfers) and guides. This is because it covers all the fixed costs such as insurance, driver, fuel, etc.

Q. What other fees and costs are included?

A. Our rates include all applicable taxes, tolls and the driver’s gratuity.

Q. What other costs may I still be responsible for?

A. No additional surcharges apply. However, if a tour guide is used the guide’s gratuity is not included and is up to you.

Q. Can I bring food or drinks on board the vehicles? What about alcohol?

A. Yes, you may bring food and drinks on board the vehicles. However, dairy and glass are not permitted. Alcohol is permitted provided it is not in a glass container.

Q. Is there a microphone/sound system on board the vehicles?

A. All buses have microphones and speakers on board. Limousines often come equipped with a sound system but be sure to ask before booking. In fact, it’s always good to alert your transportation provider if you will be using the sound system.

Q. Are there seatbelts or car seats on board?

A. Some vehicles have seatbelts available. Ask at the time of booking.

Q. Are there bathrooms on board?

A. There are bathrooms on all full size motorcoaches (ones that seat 46 passengers or more).

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

A. Credit cards; Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover; checks; cashier’s checks, personal checks; cash but not day of. (Full payment must be made prior to date of service.)

Q. Do we have to have a driver?
A. Yes, CTS vehicles are operated by specially trained, properly licensed, experienced drivers.

Q. Can we decorate the vehicle/are decorations included on limousines?

A. Different decorations can be used on certain vehicles. Ask at the time of booking for the specific vehicle which you are using.
